Naomi moves Red Tent to Bondi Junction April 1

Many of our clients have been travelling from all over to Sydney to reach our Bondi clinic. When I (Naomi) see a woman of 37 weeks coming from Bankstown, Sutherland or Pennant Hills, I cringe because whilst I want to provide support for any pregnant mumma who wants our care, I hate the idea that the trip here may cause added stress or exhaustion.

I would often try to help them find local practitioners, but many still chose to come to us. So whilst we have LOVED our Bondi Beach nest over the last six years, we recognised that the time had come to spread out our wings and make ourselves more accessible. Rebecca was the first chicklet to fly off to Surry Hills and now it’s my turn.

I’m moving Red Tent in with Harley Place Health in Bondi Junction. There is easy parking in Westfield, and it’s a few minutes walk from the train station. I’m joining forces with two highly respected osteopaths – Peter Green, who I quickly learnt has happened to teach most osteopaths in Sydney, and Chris Jones, who I was delighted to discover has a special interest in pregnant women and hip pain, having completed his masters on that subject. Upon meeting with them and feeling into their beautiful, light, clean space and connecting with their professional yet warm and approachable manner, it felt right and I knew it would be a wonderful synergy for my practice and Red Tent.

I will begin practicing from there from April 1 (no it’s not an April fools joke!), and you can call 1800redtent to make an appointment with me there and once I move I’ll give you the direct number. My new address will be: 809/251 Oxford St, Bondi Junction. Up until then, it will be business as usual in Bondi.

BUT … that is not all! So we have covered two train stations now, what about three?!

Naomi will also soon be available in Edgecliff, working with Dr Rahul Sen, obstetrician. Over the years, we get a feeling for the obstetricians that work with our clients hearing many stories, both positive and negative. ALL the clients that we have shared with Dr Sen have raved about his gentle and respectful approach and have been thrilled with his care. He heard about our great reputation for obstetric acupuncture and has also referred patients to us. Based on our understanding of him, we approached him last year to collaborate and are thrilled to let you all know that he feels like we can provide a wonderful support for many of his patients and wants to make Red Tent acupuncture available to them from his rooms. So, if you are a patient of Dr Sen, you can now access acupuncture with Naomi at his rooms in Edgecliff (just above the food plaza and train station, parking station) by calling (02) 9363 9474.

Basically, we are still Red Tent, but are now existing in multiple locations that are much easier to access.
