Acupuncture Sydney

Conveniently located in two locations – Erskineville and Bondi Junction, Red Tent Health Centre has been sought after to support clients from across Sydney (and beyond) with acupuncture, moxibustion, Gua sha and Chinese herbs since 2005.

Both our clinics are easy to find and can be reached via public transport, and have free parking close by. Our Erskineville clinic is a 1-minute walk from Erskineville Train Station while our Bondi Junction clinic is across the road from Westfield.

We see many people come from all over Sydney, as well as clients from Sydney’s inner west and eastern suburbs.

Red Tent focuses on fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, children’s health, women’s health and menopause. We also pride ourselves on treating different types of pain, be it muscular or abdominal, assisting with complex cases, calming the nervous system and providing oncology support.

Rebecca and Naomi are empathetic and care about improving your well being by helping you restore balance and harmony, so you can flourish and achieve your goals.

Our practice is founded on the principles of East Asian Medicine, and is influenced by Daoism, meditation, yoga, psychology and our own journey as women and mothers.

What is acupuncture Sydney?

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice that involves inserting very thin needles into specific points to stimulate energy flow (Qi) and promote balance. It is considered a very safe treatment. At Red Tent, we use the best needles and gentle techniques so even needle-phobic clients can receive treatment with ease.

There are many benefits to acupuncture Sydney, including:

General Health

Pain Relief: We can work with you on pain conditions including back pain, osteoarthritis and migraines.

Reducing Stress: By stimulating certain points, acupuncture can help promote relaxation and release endorphins.

Improving Sleep: Many Red Tent clients report better sleep quality and reduced insomnia symptoms after acupuncture treatments.

Chronic Conditions: Acupuncture may be integrated into the management of chronic conditions and autoimmune disorders.

Emotional Well-being: Acupuncture can be used as a complementary therapy for mental health conditions like anxiety and depression, promoting a sense of well-being.

Blood and energy flow: Acupuncture can promote blood circulation in the body, helping the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to tissues. When energy, or Qi, is balanced, overall health improves.

Complementary care: We work alongside your main care givers and are complimentary to that treatment. Some of our clients see us whilst they’re in radiation therapy or chemotherapy, and others wait until that phase is over.

Fertility and Pregnancy

Preconception: We work with prospective parents to improve their health to help their body produce the best quality eggs and sperm possible. It can make a profound difference to your experience as a parent to reach your optimal health for at least four months before conception.

Pregnancy support: We support pregnant mothers through each trimester and stage of their pregnancy, ensuring they’re as ready as possible for birth and motherhood.

Children’s Health

Kid’s health: Some symptoms we help with include recurrent snotty noses, colds and flus, tummy aches, support through cancer therapy and more. We are interested in every aspect of children’s health.

Women’s Health

Menopause: This phase of life can introduce aspects of life women are not used to. Speak to us about hot flushes, night sweats, mood, hormones, sleep, dryness and bone and joint health.

Skin Radiance: We provide cosmetic acupuncture which aims to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging by boosting collagen and elastin production, resulting in more youthful-looking skin. The process offers a subtle and chemical-free transformation over time.
