Woman examining her breast for signs of breast cancer

Breast Cancer Acupuncture

As part of a multidisciplinary approach, we are trained to support you throughout your breast cancer journey.

In particular, acupuncture for breast cancer is effective for helping to reduce symptoms from radiation treatment and chemotherapy.

Your body is an ecosystem

When you tend to a plant, you don’t just pull off the dead leaves. You also water the soil, break up the soil if it is dry, to help it be able to take in the moisture, feed it nutrients and give it sunlight. In this same way, we tend to your body. We look at the whole picture to see what is going on and where it can be improved. Breast cancer acupuncture treatment will help you to feel more balanced, less stressed and more relaxed.

Tending to ‘all’ of you

Breast cancer acupuncture tends to your mind, body and spirit, as they are interconnected. It may help to relieve fatigue, nausea, hot flushes or hot flashes, vomiting and pain such as joint pain, sleep disturbance and anxiety.

Complementary care

We work alongside your main care givers and are complimentary to that treatment. Some of our clients see us whilst they’re in radiation therapy or chemotherapy, and others wait until that phase is over. It’s different for everyone. Please get in contact with us via email to see what would suit you best.

How do we treat you?

We typically use a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, lifestyle and diet advice that is particular to your situation to help you feel more balanced and well from the inside out.

Clients tell us we are gentle in our approach and work with you in a way that is encouraging. You’ll leave your treatment feeling lighter and deeply relaxed with a new approach on how to manage your health.

We look forward to supporting you at this important time in your life.
