I grew up in Thailand, a country with a strong living tradition of natural healing, and I have been studying and practicing health disciplines since 1998, when I qualified in Thai massage. I then moved to Australia to expand my knowledge of oriental massage and to study Traditional Chinese Medicine.
My passion for women’s and family health comes partly from my experience of motherhood with my own two bundles of dynamic energy (kids). Whenever my practice involves parents and children in areas such as fertility and pregnancy, it gives me great satisfaction to contribute to individual well-being, but also the cycle of life itself. I also treat a wide range of conditions such as pain, headache, mental health, stress, and insomnia.
My approach to healing is based on continuous learning. I have been lucky enough to have a range of great teachers. The highlights of my TCM study were a 3-month internship in Guangxi TCM University hospitals and receiving the first David Whitworth Memorial Prize for Acupuncture at the Australian College of Natural Medicine. I was later able to help pass knowledge on by being a lecturer in acupuncture at the University of Lincoln (UK) and a supervisor of the student acupuncture clinic there.
As well as working as an acupuncturist at Red Tent I am currently completing a Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Western Sydney. Combining the latest western and TCM medical research with my clinical experience and traditional knowledge has enriched my understanding and insight into practice.
